My name is John Carroll, trading as Paint Magic. With over 50 years in the decorating trade — beginning with my apprenticeship in Belfast — I hold a City & Guilds Advanced Craft qualification from Twickenham College and completed a broken colour and special effects course at Nottingham Design Academy.
I spent 30 years painting kitchens and furniture in Belfast, followed by 10 years in London carrying out bespoke work. Most of my work is now focused on refurbishing and painting new kitchens. I have hand-painted approximately 500 kitchens for Robinson Interiors, Belfast, and recently completed 3 for Parkes Kitchens, Belfast — though the majority of my work is private.
Units can be pine, mahogany, oak, laminate and more. I can help with your colour scheme and the surrounding décor, and I will visit your home to provide a full specification and costing. Many recommendations are available on request.
